BIM design

BIM - Building Information Modeling is the process of designing projects from the field of construction through the development of a virtual three-dimensional information model of the building, with a strong emphasis on the cooperation of all participants in the design process and construction participants.

It is important to emphasize that BIM is not a term that denotes a three-dimensional model of a building, but refers to the process of project design and project documentation. The BIM process involves, inter alia, the creation of a 3D information model that contains 3D geometry and other data on building elements (thickness, density, physical characteristics, position, etc.). BIM encompasses all participants in the construction process: designers, investors, managers, contractors, materials producers, etc. Using the BIM system, the creation of technical documentation is incomparably faster, more accurate and up-to-date than the classic 2D drawing.
